“2011-2021: TEN YEARS OF BARBED PHARYNGOPLASTIES” SECOND COURSE ON PHARYNGOPLASTIES FOR OSA (TRIBUTE TO MARIO MANTOVANI)

In the last ten years, the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OAS) has undergone significant evolutions.

The introduction by Prof. Mario Mantovani of new anatomo-physiological concepts and a new technique of pharingoplasty with barbed self-locking threads has revolutionized the surgical therapy of the OSA.

Thanks to the participation of an international Faculty there will be the opportunity to analyze and discuss the results of these first ten years of barbed pharyngoplasties, as well as to remember our friend Mario Mantovani.
